Solo Traveler
Not worth the very little price I paid. It's located in the middle of nowhere Queens boulevard but at least you can walk to the subway. The place is dirty, old, and gross. In terms of amenities -- I think it can be wrapped up in the fact fact that I had to request a second pillow, since only ONE was provided in the hotel room. Rooms are fairly large for NY. Some need a little repair such as paint in bathrooms and removal of rust in bathtub. Staff is generally very helpful. Noon check-out is very nice. No transportation to JFK after 6 PM needs to be on web site. Internet access in lobby is helpful. ...read more

I was in Queens taking my daughter to her new college, St. John's University. The hotel is only 15 minutes from St. John's. It is conveniently located near public transportation, shopping and dining. I would never recommend this hotel. Please stay away from this. There is no friendly ambience. Towels are unclean and products (soap, shampoo, etc) are cheap. Restaurant food is nasty. They overcharged for this uncooked and tasteless food. ...read more

Solo Traveler
The room was less than adequate. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in a while (way too hard), there was only one chair in the room and you had to wedge it between the beds to watch TV. The bathroom toilet was crammed in between the wall and the sink so you had to keep your elbows pinned to your side and reaching the toilet paper required you to contort your elbow backwards. ...read more
